Because of the high tape speed [7~ and 15 ips (19.05 and
38.1 cm/s)], excellent frequency and treble response is
achieved. Editing (splicing) is also easier and more accurate with high tape speeds."

In 1977 B77 MKI replaced the Revox A77. The machine quickly became the world standard for semi-professional tape machines and is still one of the most popular devices today.

It's serviced and mechanically overseen wherever necessary,NEW Pinch Roller and well-known parts changed.Take a good look at the detailed pictures,recorder is in a harmless,almost perfect condition!
The tape-source switch is repaired,careful use is advised.


The recorder comes with good quality (pre-recorded) Maxell tape on MAXELL reels,just for testing the machine;however-it is highly recommended,for professional (recording) results,to use (brand)new tape.

THERE IS AN ORIGINAL RECORDING OF THE FIRST PHILIPS DEMO CD MADE,AT 38CM/SEC.
