Denomination:
Silver Drachm Weight: ~4.0 g / Diameter: ~21 mm

Obverse: Diademed and draped bearded bust of Mithradates III facing left, wearing a distinctive royal Parthian tiara with an ear flap, adorned with an eight-rayed star (or six-pointed star, depending on the specific die variety) and a torque ending in a pellet.
Dotted border around.

Reverse: Beardless archer (Arsaces I, the founder of the dynasty) seated right on a throne, wearing traditional Parthian dress and a bashlyk, holding a bow in his outstretched right hand. Surrounded by a seven-line Greek inscription in a square format: ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΜΕΓΑΛΟΥ ΑΡΣΑΚΟΥ ΑΥΤΟΚΡΑΤΟΡΟΣ ΦΙΛΟΠΑΤΟΡΟΣ ΕΠΙΦΑΝΟΥΣ ΦΙΛΕΛΛΗΝΟΣ.
