The 2008 Fender American Standard Stratocaster (Second Series) features an Alder or Ash body with a gloss urethane finish and a modern "C" shaped maple neck with a satin back and gloss front. It utilizes 22 medium jumbo frets on either a maple or rosewood fingerboard with a 9.5" radius and a 1.685" nut width.
