Vintage Seiko 5 Automatic, reference 6349-540A, produced in November 1984 and featuring a distinctive 1980s TV-style stainless-steel case and a striking black dial.

The watch is powered by the reliable Seiko calibre 6349A automatic movement with 23 jewels, featuring both day and date functions.

The watch was serviced in July 2026 and is currently running and keeping time.

The original black dial has not been repainted or replaced. The dial features four distinct brushing directions, creating a subtle geometric effect.

The case back is clearly marked “SEIKO”, “JAPAN U”, Ref. 6349-540A, Serial No. 4N8470, and bears the period-correct Suwa-Seikosha factory crest, an original production detail valued by collectors.

The watch is fitted with a handmade black patent leather strap in regular length.

The watch comes with an aftermarket Seiko box.
