Chartreuse TAU 2021 – Tarragona Limited Edition – 70 cl – 44% ABV

A highly collectible bottle of Chartreuse TAU, bottled in 2021 and produced by the Carthusian Monks as a special limited release associated with the city of Tarragona.

TAU is traditionally composed of approximately two parts Yellow Chartreuse and one part Green Chartreuse, creating a distinctive balance between the sweeter, floral character of Yellow Chartreuse and the greater herbal intensity of Green Chartreuse.

This special cuvée is released exclusively in Tarragona in connection with the city's Santa Tecla festivities in September and is produced in limited quantities, making each annual edition particularly sought after by Chartreuse collectors.

The distinctive label incorporates Tarragona's colours and the letter “T”, while the back label recalls the historic relationship between the Carthusian Monks and Tarragona, where Chartreuse was produced for many decades.
