Lot of 3 bottles of Mirabilis Grande Reserva Branco 2023, presented in its original Quinta Nova de Nossa Senhora do Carmo case.
Produced from small parcels of old and century-old Douro vineyards planted above 500 metres on transitional schist-granite soils, Mirabilis is one of the region’s most ambitious and distinctive white wines.
The field blend is led by Viosinho and Gouveio, complemented by several rare, low-yielding indigenous varieties from old vines. Fermentation and ageing take place in carefully selected French and Hungarian oak barrels, mainly second and third use, preserving the fruit, freshness and mineral identity.
The 2023 offers white and stone fruit, floral notes, spices, herbs and nuts, with a creamy texture, vibrant acidity and a broad, citrus-driven, persistent finish.
