a technics sp-25 quartz direct drive turntable, a respected japanese vintage audio component from the 1979–1982 production period.

this unit has been professionally serviced and adjusted prior to sale. the electronic parts were checked, the spindle was lubricated, contacts were cleaned, and the relevant adjustments were carried out.

the turntable has been tested over an extended period. rotation is stable and the following functions operate correctly:

* 33 and 45 rpm speed selection
* pitch control
* strobe illumination
* stop function, which stops the platter promptly from either speed

the main unit presents very well, with no prominent damage noted. the rubber mat remains supple, with no visible deterioration or warping. please note that this is a vintage used item and may show light signs of age and use, including small marks or minor dullness.
