refined decorative decanter in exquisite Murano blown glass with ribbed texture, entirely handmade by the famous Archimede Seguso furnace. The pear-shaped body, in finely ribbed transparent glass, is topped by a magnificent sculptural stopper molded hot, featuring elegant naturalistic leaf shapes in blue tones and crystal. The stopper is embellished inside with hot application of 24-karat gold leaf, submerged, which gives splendid warm golden reflections to the light. The object is my exclusive property (single owner), personally purchased in the early 80s (circa 1981-1983) at the historic showroom of the Luci Group - La Murrina of Olgiate Comasco, where I was employed at the time. On the body of the object is perfectly preserved the original transparent label of the Murano Glass Consortium (brand introduced in 1981) bearing the official factory code 037, which certifies and guarantees the attribution directly to the Archimede Seguso furnace. A piece of design history and high-end Murano craftsmanship. It presents in excellent vintage condition, perfectly intact, with no chips, cracks or restorations. Clean and carefully preserved.
