### Beautiful Flying Crane Design

The cylindrical black lacquer body is decorated with numerous graceful **flying cranes (tsuru)** rendered in contrasting gold and red.

Rather than being restricted to a single frontal image, the cranes extend around the cylindrical body, creating a sense of movement as the vase is viewed from different angles.

A fine gold-colored line encircles the upper rim and provides an elegant finishing detail.
