「Noble 7」 is a large-scale oil painting from Seppe Vanbelle's Blue Period, depicting an armoured, futuristic warrior figure in profile. The face, half-hidden behind a stylised helmet, gazes out over a haunting landscape where a full moon and the silhouettes of ancient ruins merge with a science-fiction aesthetic.

The monochrome blue palette, characteristic of the series, heightens the atmosphere of solitary vigilance and timelessness: the figure appears to exist at the intersection of past and future, human and machine. The detailed, almost mechanical rendering of the armour contrasts with the loose, atmospheric background, creating strong depth and tension within the work.
