An elegant, beautifully preserved mid-20th-century smoking luxury item. This "Grand Luxe" cigarette and cigarillo holder is a prime example of refined Art Deco / Mid-Century styling, designed both as a functional tool and a sophisticated personal accessory.
The holder features a sleek, multi-faceted body crafted from jet-black ebonite (hard rubber) or high-grade early resin. It is striking for its central decorative band, which beautifully mimics luminous tortoiseshell or faux-amber, flanked by twin bright metallic spacer rings. The mouthpiece is ergonomically tapered with a flat profile for a comfortable grip, while the reception end features an elegant flared, octagonal geometry.
The item rests in its original fitted presentation case. The exterior of the case is covered in a deep plum-purple textured material, while the interior features a vibrant, plush grass-green velvet bed to hold the piece perfectly in place. The upper inner lid is lined in ivory silk and stamped with the elegant cursive brand name Grand Luxe.
