Zeldzame Javaanse Keris Solo - 5 Luk met Figuurlijke Buffelhoorn Greep en Messing Pendok - Java, Indonesië

Prachtige, authentieke Javaanse Keris uit Solo (Surakarta), Centraal-Java. Een karaktervolle collectors-keris met veel uitstraling en een hoge leeftijd.

Deze keris bestaat uit een complete montage en heeft een oude, authentieke Wilah / Wilah met 5 luks (golvende bochten). Het blad toont duidelijk ouderdom en patina, met zichtbare sporen van pamor in het smeedwerk. De dapur is typerend voor Solo.

De montage in detail:

• Hulu / Greep: Zeer mooi en expressief gesneden figuur-greep uit massief buffelhoorn. De greep stelt een zittende figuur voor, mogelijk een Togog of voorouderfiguur, met veel detail in de sarong en gelaatsuitdrukking. Mooie diepe, donkere patina. Gemonteerd met een oude selut / mendak van metaal met bolletjesrand.
• Warangka / Schede: Klassieke Solo Ladrang Perahu vorm, uitgevoerd in mooi warm hardhout met prachtige nerf. De warangka heeft de kenmerkende bootvorm met de krullende punt.
• Pendok: Het onderste deel van de schede is bekleed met een pendok van messing, rijkelijk gedreven en geciseleerd met diep uitgewerkte florale motieven en rankenwerk. Zeer decoratief en in uitstekende staat.

Het is een keris met karakter, niet gerestaureerd, in geheel originele en eerlijke staat zoals gevonden. Een prachtig stuk voor de keris-verzamelaar van Indonesische wapens en tribale kunst.

Conditie: Goed en origineel voor zijn leeftijd. De houten warangka heeft gebruikssporen. De messing pendok is intact met lichte patina. Het buffelhoornen handvat vertoont ouderdomssporen en een mooie glans van gebruik. De oude ijzeren wilah heeft roest en patina passend bij de leeftijd, zie foto's voor een nauwkeurige impressie. Dit is geen nieuw gemaakte toeristen-keris.

Description:

A beautiful and authentic Javanese Keris from Solo (Surakarta), Central Java, Indonesia.

This keris comes in a complete and original mount. It features an old, authentic Wilah / Blade with 5 luks (waves). The blade shows clear signs of age and patina, with visible traces of pamor forging. The dapur is typical for the Solo region.

Mounting details:

• Hulu / Hilt: A very expressive, hand-carved figural hilt made of solid buffalo horn. The hilt depicts a seated figure, possibly a Togog or ancestor figure, with great detail in the sarong and facial expression. Beautiful deep, dark patina from age and handling. Mounted with an old metal selut / mendak with beaded border.
• Warangka / Sheath: Classic Solo Ladrang Perahu (boat-shaped) form, made of beautiful warm hardwood with a nice grain. Features the characteristic curled tip.
• Pendok: The lower part of the sheath is covered with a brass pendok, richly chased and embossed with deeply worked floral and vine motifs. Very decorative and in excellent condition.

This is a charismatic keris with character, unrestored and in completely original, honest condition as found. A wonderful piece for the collector of keris, Indonesian arms and tribal art.

Condition: Good and original for its age. The wooden warangka shows signs of use. The brass pendok is intact with light patina. The buffalo horn hilt shows age and a beautiful sheen from use. The old iron blade has rust and patina consistent with age, please see photos for an accurate impression. This is not a newly made tourist keris.
