The 6 scenes delicately depict rural and village life: a bustling square in a Lorraine village and a traditional farm scene. Noah's Ark with the animals, the sky, the water. Produced by Villeroy & Boch Luxembourg, a manufactory founded in 1748, these pieces perfectly illustrate the meeting between naive art and European porcelain craftsmanship.
