Description

A symbolic figurative work exploring protection, vulnerability and the ambiguous nature of guardianship. The monumental figure, enclosed within an arch-like field of rhythmic red marks, appears simultaneously powerful and fragile, transforming the traditional image of an angel into something deeply human and imperfect.

The muted earth palette, simplified anatomy and deliberately raw contours give the painting an archaic, almost ritual character. Rather than depicting a conventional celestial being, the work presents the guardian as an archetype, suspended between strength and uncertainty, the sacred and the absurd.
