These are two pith paintings from the Qing Dynasty, produced by the Thirteen Factories for export to Europe. Both depict the families of officials enjoying a happy domestic life, with the patriarch, his wife, and their children gathered together. Please examine the original images carefully: one painting has a defect, while the other is in excellent condition with no cracking. They are large in size, with outer frames measuring 42 × 31 × 1.5 cm and the paintings themselves measuring 28.5 × 18 cm.
