一只花斑小猫系着红色蝴蝶结，蹲坐着抬头看着飞行中的蜜蜂——这是梅塔·普吕克巴姆最著名的题材之一。她在杜塞尔多夫由画家赫尔曼·埃米尔·波勒私下授课，并且是杜塞尔多夫女性艺术家协会（1911）的创始成员之一。普吕克巴姆因其可爱的猫咪和小猫版画而闻名，作品广泛被欧洲和美国收藏。她与风格画家兼版画家卡尔·普吕克巴姆结为连理。

Condition: good, consistent with age.

Light even toning of the paper, a few small foxing spots. Minor irregularities along the upper plate edge. Colours still fresh.
纸张微微泛黄，少量细小的褐斑。上部版缘有细小不规则。颜色仍然鲜明。
The frame shows wear and small paint losses; the paper backing on the reverse has small tears at the edges (see photos).
框架有磨损和少量油漆脱落；背面的纸质衬板边缘有小撕裂（见照片）。
