BMW 635 CSI
Bronzit beige metallic with brown interior, scale 1/18.
Extremely rare & hard to find soldout model in this condition!
Brand new, only out of the box for the photosession.
Perfect for the exclusive modelcar collector or the BMW collector.
This is a gorgeus model from AUTOart Millennium collection, it´s extraordinarly detailed & the quality is absolutely stunning.
The doors, trunk & hood can be opened.
About the original car:
The BMW 635 CSi (E24) is a legendary grand tourer produced from 1978 to 1989, widely celebrated for its distinctive "shark-nose" styling penned by Paul Bracq and its silky-smooth M30 inline-six engine. Serving as the flagship of the first-generation BMW 6 Series, it combined high-speed autobahn cruising capability with luxury appointments and massive motorsport success in Group A touring car racing.
Design and Evolution Platform Roots:
Originally built upon the E12 5 Series platform before switching to the updated E28 5 Series architecture in 1982, which significantly improved its chassis dynamics and suspension.
Exterior Styling:
Characterized by a forward leaning "shark-nose" grille, long hood, frameless door glass, and a classic low-slung coupe silhouette.
Interior:
Features a driver oriented center stack, premium leather options, and advanced tech for its era like an onboard computer and ABS.
Motorsport Heritage Dominance:
The 635 CSi was a powerhouse in international motorsport, securing overall victories in the European Touring Car Championship (ETCC) (1981, 1983, 1986), the 24 Hours of Spa, and the inaugural DTM (Deutsche Tourenwagen Meisterschaft) predecessor in 1984.
Handling Advantage:
While competitors like the Jaguar XJ-S ran thirstier V12 engines, the lighter, better balanced BMW relied on stellar reliability and tire preservation to outlast rivals on tough endurance circuits.
Item will be carefully packed, insured and sent with tracking information.
