Here is a classic mid-19th century French Louis Philippe four-drawer commode that brings plenty of warmth and old-world character into a room. It has those clean, timeless lines typical of the period, showcased by rich bookmatched walnut across the drawer fronts and solid walnut side panels. Sitting right on top is a thick, double-beveled grey marble slab running with soft white veining. The hidden top drawer is seamlessly tucked into the upper cove molding, while the three deep lower drawers are built with sturdy dovetails and open smoothly using the key.

Condition:
Good antique shape overall with honest signs of age that fit a piece approaching 200 years old. The walnut retains a lovely warm patina with gentle surface marks from normal use over time. The marble top has an old chip repair as shown in the photos, which is stable and solid. All drawers slide as they should, the locks work, and one original-style key is included.
