This complete three-piece set represents an absolute rarity in the mid-century market.
Designed by Silvio Coppola and produced by Alessi, the trays are made of 18/10 stainless steel with mirrored edges.
The central surface features a photo-etching technique that creates a geometric reticulate texture; the pattern varies dimensionally toward the center, creating a visual effect typical of the period.
The set includes the three original fabric protective cases.
Finding a lot of three units in these conditions is extremely difficult.
Dimensions (all 2.5 cm tall): large tray 52.5 cm x 30.5 cm, medium tray 45.0 cm x 26.0 cm, small tray 37.5 cm x 22.0 cm. Total weight over 3.2 kg.
Material: high-quality 18/10 stainless steel, with a polished finish and technical milling on the top surface.
Design: The tray top features a complex raised-relief work (achieved via photo-etching) with a geometric grid that varies dimensionally, creating a kinetic optical effect that accentuates toward the center. To the touch, the texture is perceptible, giving dynamism and depth to the metallic surface.
Generally in very good condition, with normal signs of wear and age.
