卖家的描述
以经典街灯形状的台灯,由深色金属框架构成,角落饰有镀金铜色的洛卡伊纹饰(芦苇叶纹样?应为奥斯特)on second thought: keep as rocaille ornament with acanthus leaf motifs. The lantern top is hexagonal and consists of five lightly tinted glass panels, of which one panel is designed as a hinged door on a hinge with a hook — so the lamp is easy to access for replacement without having to dismantle the shade.
Inside the shade there is a candle-shaped “flame tip” lampholder with a twisted, dripping wax look — a decorative detail that makes the whole resemble an authentic candle lantern and was later electrified; the fitting is cut and placed on it (see photo).
The shade rests on a twisted baluster foot with a round, flat base, and is crowned by a pinecone-like ornament on top of the lid.
Age and material: the bottom of the foot shows no foundry stamp, but clear concentric casting traces and a heavy, grainy white-gray oxidation layer with pits — characteristic of long-unpolished, older cast metal (possibly lead-tin or zamak alloy). This points to a considerably aged object, presumably early 20th century, and the fitting is hand-cut, making it imperfect but the lamp works.
Carefully packed and sent by registered mail.
