Grigory Nikolayevich Neujmin (1886-1946) was a Georgian–Russian astronomer. He discovered numerous planets, as well as multiple comets in space at the Pulkovo and Simeiz Observatories. He received the Order of the Red Banner of Labour in 1945.
The watch comes with a special automatic Slava movement. The design for thiese movements were already in production during the Soviet era, and are a modern version today. The movements are regarded as high quality and an iconic part of watch making history.
The planets and comets move, very rare to see. The Slava movement has a special feature, sometimes it ''skips'' a second, impressive feature.
