On offer is a beautiful necklace with an elegant pendant. This pendant consists of a very nice gourd shaped white nephrite jade sculpture, set in an “open work” gold-plated metal mounting. This good sized nephrite jade stone is of high quality and has a good translucency. Both necklace as pendant have a pseudo gold mark visible on the pictures. Now offered with no reserve price bidding!
The gourd shaped stone has been identified as nephrite jade by measuring thermal conductivity and hardness and translucency. Also checked with UV light; which indicates a natural color. Provenance: This jade comes from inland China. A nice juwel, very suitable as an addition to your high-end collection or to present as a gift! Please see test results and pictures.

*Material/color: Thermal conductivity and bright light indicates: White translucent nephrite jade of homogenous structure with no visible inclusions. Necklace and mounting are made of gold-plated metal with (imitation) gold marks.

*Weight (total): 6,128 gram.
*Hardness: No scratching possible, with hardened steel scratch pen.
*UV/ bright light check: No indication of treatment.
*Dating: 21th Century.
*Size (stone): 23 mm * 13 mm * 8 mm. Necklace length: 490 mm (49 cm).
*Condition: Very fine “as found” condition, with a very small chip at the nose of the pixiu. Further without damage!
