盒身为铜质，镶嵌精致的金属线镶珐琅工艺（yusen shippo）珐琅遍布。深绿色地景背景上，点缀着黄绿、淡紫、蓝、白、酒红等色的繁密花卉与藤蔓卷草纹样，覆盖每一处表面，毫无留白。
每个盒腔内部为素色珐琅。
两端穿孔（himotoshi）用于悬挂。
