整套8件，来自肯尼亚北部托拉纳（Turkana）部落的古代Corogat战士用双刃指钩，用来撕下敌人眼睛。

Whole collection 8X lot ancient Turkana Corogat warrior double blade tear-off-eyes finger hooks from northern Kenya.

Estimated age: 1950-1960.

Dimensions: length: from 6.3 cm till 8.4 cm, it depends by the piece.

Name: the Turkana word for this warrior finger hook is Corogat. In the past, the Corogats were mainly used on battle by Turkana warriors to tear-off the eyes of the enemies. These Turkana objects, which are finger hook rings, were used for the extraction of teeth too by a Turkana tribe member known as Ekalokon, who would normally wear the Corogat on a finger. The Corogats were used in the far past among the Turkana as a very valuable currency too. The making of these objects was restricted to the male members of the tribe. The finger hole was referred as Akeju, literally meaning "foot".

Tribe: Turkana tribe, Turkanaland, northern Kenya.

Materials: iron. This type of warrior double blade finger hook is very rare to find nowadays due to social changes in the area.

We found these Corogat finger hooks on 1988 in villages nearby Lodwar, northern Kenya, where a part of Turkana tribe is located.
