Artist Biography

The freedom to paint, to create, to vibrate..
Evening classes to fine arts, applied arts, Alex Verdenne begins formal drawing, academic art at the dawn of the 90s. But very quickly he chooses to free himself from it because convention is not in his DNA. "The painter must cultivate imagination." He joins the street world, that of graffiti. Spray painting completes his artistic education. From this nascent art, he acquires a sure and precise gesture, the mastery of a quick stroke, a painting freed from tridimensionality, chromatic flamboyance, the simplification of a composition, another gaze. From cubism to free figuration, Alex draws his own codes, he asserts the freedom of automatic line and the use of balanced colors;
