Rare Set of 2 Greek Bond Certificates (1926) | 1 & 5 Bonds – Complete WWII Occupation Uncut Coupons (Nearly Mint / UNC)
An exceptional and highly collectible set of two original government bond certificates issued by the Hellenic Republic in 1926 ("National Lottery Loan of 1,250,000,000 Drachmas at 6%").
Finding these two key denominations together as a matching set in such pristine condition is extremely difficult.
Issuer: Hellenic Republic (Greek State)
Year of Issue: 1926
Printer: "Aspioti Bros" Graphic Arts S.A., Corfu (Anonymos Elliniki Etaireia Grafikon Technon "Adelfoi G. Aspioti" Kerkyra)
1x Single Bond Certificate (100 Drachmas) – Cyan / Blue Border
1x Five-Bond Certificate (5 x 100 Drachmas) – Green / Blue Border
Reverse Side: Features the complete Amortization Schedule and Lottery Prize Distribution Table flanked by classical Greek statues.
Both bonds feature their original attached coupon sheets with all WWII Occupation and post-war coupons fully intact (Coupons #16 to #20, covering 1942–1946). None have been clipped.
Exceptional Condition (Nearly Mint / UNC): Crisp paper quality, sharp corners, vivid original ink colors, and zero pinholes, tears, or heavy folds.
Will be carefully packed in rigid protective sleeves and shipped via registered mail with tracking.
