This offered for sale is this full-set Longines La Grande Classique, reference L4.636.2, dating from 1997. With its slim gold-plated case and clean champagne dial, this La Grande Classique is a fine example of Longines' understated, thin dress-watch design.

The watch is powered by the Longines calibre L263.2 quartz movement. The movement runs properly and the watch presents itself as a clean, well-kept vintage piece.

The champagne dial remains attractive, with applied baton markers and a date window at 3 o'clock. The case is gold plated (10 microns), and the watch is fitted with a new leather strap.

Maximum wrist size is approximately 20cm. This watch comes complete with its original box and papers, showing the watch was purchased in the Netherlands in 1997.
