A clean A‑line shift silhouette with a rounded boat neckline at the front and a dramatic deep square‑cut open back. The entire dress is built from horizontal tonal bands: matte wool‑blend strips alternating with smoother panels, each finished with visible topstitching and deliberately raw edges. The back panels are worked in silk, giving a subtle sheen that contrasts with the matte front. The effect is black on black texture, understated from the front and striking from behind.
