I am offering for auction a magnificent and rare Elysée DRAGON Special Edition pen, produced in Germany between 1998 and 2000.
This limited special edition was created to celebrate the transition to the new millennium and the prestigious Year of the Dragon in the Chinese Zodiac.
As the brand ceased operations in the early 2000s, this piece has become a highly sought-after collector's item that is difficult to find on the current market.

Nib and Features:
High-end open nib, two-tone, crafted from yellow gold with an 18K (750) platinum mask, featuring elegant detailing and excellent writing flexibility.

Barrel and Finish:
Made of heavy brass with an exquisite glossy black Chinese lacquer finish.
Features a detailed gold screen-printed design of a mythical Eastern dragon running the length of the barrel.

The Chinese dragon design along the body is executed using a high-precision screen-printing technique and subsequently gold-plated.
The gold-engraved Chinese characters on the cap represent a classic expression translating to "The Flying Dragon is in the Heavens."
