This historic locality is renowned among mineral collectors for producing fluorite with its distinctive “Bingham Blue” coloration, ranging from delicate sky and icy blue to deeper blue-violet tones.
The specimen displays beautifully developed fluorite crystals (CaF₂) with attractive translucency, geometric crystal forms and subtle variations of blue throughout the cluster.
