This painting presents a rugged and deeply enveloping landscape, dominated by abundant vegetation that covers the slopes with an extraordinary combination of greens, yellows, ochres, oranges, reds, purples and blacks. From the lower left corner a pale dirt path is born, entering among the shrubs and progressively disappearing into the thick growth. The terrain rises to the right, forming a large reddish slope crowned with trees and shrubs, while a grayish and luminous sky occupies a narrow upper band. The scene conveys the feeling of a natural, secluded and quiet corner, where the vegetation has grown freely and each color seems to announce a change of season.

The path constitutes the main visual access to the landscape. It begins with a relatively wide surface and narrows as it moves toward the center. Its course curves gently to the right before being hidden by the vegetation. This direction creates depth and invites the viewer to imagine what may lie beyond the visible area.

The surface of the road is composed of beige, yellow, ochre, soft brown tones and small pinkish nuances. Some areas seem illuminated, while others acquire greenish and violet shadows.
