Rallye Vintage Racing Chronograph – Valjoux 7765

Very attractive and unusual Rallye vintage chronograph from the late 1970s / early 1980s, with a superb near-mint champagne-coloured dial, contrasting black registers and red chronograph hand.

The stainless-steel case measures 38 mm and features an original screw-down case back. The crystal is completely scratch-free

Inside is the renowned Swiss Valjoux 7765 manual-winding chronograph movement, a robust and well-known member of the Valjoux 77xx family. The movement is running perfectly and the chronograph functions correctly, including start, stop and reset.

The watch comes on a very attractive vintage-style suede racing strap, perfectly suited to its period racing character.

The crown has lost some of its original chrome plating. I personally find this adds to the honest vintage character of the watch, but a similar-sized replacement crown can also easily be sourced if desired.
