ABOUT THE ARTIST
Oliveiros Junior, aka UTOPIA, is a Brazilian self-taught visual artist born in São Paulo. He began his graffiti journey in 1996, at the age of 13, through the hip-hop and graffiti movement of São Paulo.
Over the years, his practice has evolved into a contemporary artistic language combining graffiti, spray paint, acrylic, graphite and mixed-media techniques.
His work has been presented in exhibitions, festivals and artistic projects internationally.
UTOPIA currently lives and works in Lisbon, Portugal, developing his studio practice, murals and contemporary artworks.
