Movement: Powered by an authentic Swiss-made, 17-jewel (17 Jewels), copper/rose-gilt finished historic in-house Omega Caliber 28.10 RA PC / Caliber 342 bumper automatic movement. The bridge clearly displays "OMEGA WATCH Co SWISS - SEVENTEEN 17 JEWELS" and movement serial number 10912781, dating production directly to 1947. Both spring-loaded bumper stops and oscillating rotor assembly remain in excellent condition.
Case Dimensions: Approximately 37.5 mm including the winding crown (approximately 35.5 mm excluding the crown / vertical lug-to-lug stance approximately 44 mm). Its rare oversized Jumbo dimensions for the late 1940s, coupled with flared downturned lugs, provide an authoritative, noble, and commanding presence on the wrist.
Case & Crown Structure: Solid stainless steel (Acier Inoxydable) case construction. Fitted with a period-correct knurled steel winding crown. Due to age and regular use, honest vintage hairline scratches and surface micro-wear true to its age are present across the case, lugs, and snap-on caseback.
Caseback: Original solid stainless steel snap-on caseback. The inner face features circular perlage finishing, "PATENT +", "ACIER INOXYDABLE", the Omega triangular hallmark "OMEGA WATCH Co - FAB. SUISSE - SWISS MADE", and the reference stamp 2421/1.
Dial and Hands: A two-tone circular brushed "Tuxedo" / Sector dial. The vertically brushed silver center contrasts with the outer anthracite/slate track. Features an applied steel Omega logo, "OMEGA AUTOMATIC" script, steel baton indices, and classic leaf hands. The dial has been professionally refinished/restored (redial) in the past, offering crisp legibility and period aesthetics.
