Dargue Goodwill Flight - Dargue letter with 33 stamps/countries

Carried aboard the Loening plane New York under Major Herbert A. Dargue, this cover completed the entire Dargue Goodwill mission. It bears 33 stamps from 24 countries.

At the reverse side of both covers is the following hand written text by Major H.A. Dargue:
“I certify that this letter was carried by the U.S. Army Pan American flight over 20.000 miles through Mexico, many nations of Central and South America and back to Washington D.C. via the West Indies, Dec 21, 1926 to May 2, 1927 “
