Olympus 35-S G.Zuiko 4.2cm F1.8 35mm Rangefinder Camera

Thank you very much for viewing this item.

The Olympus 35-S is a classic Japanese 35mm rangefinder camera equipped with a bright G.Zuiko 4.2cm F1.8 fixed lens. The 4.2cm focal length, approximately 42mm, provides a natural perspective that works well for everyday photography, street scenes, portraits, travel, and general use.

Its F1.8 maximum aperture is notably bright for a compact fixed-lens camera of its era, giving the photographer greater flexibility in lower-light situations and allowing more control over depth of field. The traditional rangefinder focusing system and direct manual operation also provide the deliberate, mechanical shooting experience that makes vintage cameras of this generation so enjoyable.

With its compact body, classic styling, and fast G.Zuiko lens, the Olympus 35-S is also an appealing model for collectors of early Japanese 35mm cameras.
