Vintage Rotring 600 Matte Black Writing Set

A vintage Rotring 600 writing set, comprising a matte black fountain pen and matching mechanical pencil, presented in the original Rotring box. Designed with the needs of architects, engineers and technical professionals in mind, the 600 series is recognised for its robust construction, purposeful detailing and distinctive hexagonal form.

The fountain pen is fitted with a fine (F) nib, while the matching mechanical pencil completes a well-balanced and increasingly sought-after set. The coordinated matte black finish gives the pair a restrained, utilitarian appearance characteristic of late twentieth-century German industrial design.
