This painting presents an expansive rural landscape traversed by a path that leads toward a country house located in the distance. The scene opens before the viewer like an invitation to slowly walk the terrain, advance through the fields and discover the dwelling that rises amidst a broad and silent environment. The composition conveys an intense sense of calm, isolation and connection with the land.

The path begins at the lower area and traverses the scene with an irregular line, full of curves, stones and small color variations. Its presence organizes the whole composition and guides the gaze from the foreground to the house. The ochre, pinkish, brown and violet tones that appear on the path suggest a dry, warm land, marked by the passage of time and by those who have walked it before.

On both sides of the path grow grasses, shrubs and small plants that are freely distributed across the terrain. The vegetation does not appear orderly, but adapted naturally to the landscape's irregularities. The muted greens, yellows, browns and reddish tones build a rich variety of shades reflecting the diversity of the countryside and its transformation across the seasons.
