Thank you very much for viewing this item.

Introduced in December 1972, the Nikon Nikkor-H.C Auto 50mm F2 is a classic standard lens from the Nikon F-mount era.

It retained the proven 4-group, 6-element optical design of the earlier Nikkor-H Auto 50mm F2 while introducing multi-layer coating. The 50mm focal length provides a natural perspective on 35mm film cameras, making it well suited to everyday photography, portraits, street scenes, and general-purpose use.

With its F2 maximum aperture and traditional manual-focus operation, it is both a practical vintage standard lens and an attractive piece for collectors of classic Nikon equipment.

The Nikon Nikkor-H.C Auto 50mm F2 represents an important stage in the development of Nikon's classic 50mm standard lenses, combining the established optical design of the earlier Nikkor-H with multi-layer coating.

Its natural 50mm perspective and F2 maximum aperture make it suitable for a wide variety of subjects, while its traditional construction gives it the distinctive handling and character of a classic Nikon lens.

This example shows some normal age-related wear but remains clean overall. The optics contain only a few fine dust particles and remain clear, and the basic functions operate properly.

It is an appealing lens for both practical film photography and collectors of vintage Nikon F-mount equipment.
