Description

This piece combines a traditional Japanese hanging scroll with a matching *fuchin* (scroll weight).
The *fuchin* (scroll weight) is made of Kutani ware.
There is an inscription on the hanging scroll's box, but I cannot read it.

The scroll features a landscape painting dominated by shades of blue and green, beautifully capturing the imagery of mountains and flowing water. Characterized by a serene color palette and a vertical composition, it serves as an elegant element of traditional Japanese interior décor.
A *fuchin* is attached to the bottom of the scroll; while serving the practical purpose of stabilizing the scroll, it also acts as a decorative accent that enhances the artwork's overall appeal.
This scroll is the work of Kan Taketani.
