卖家的描述
丹麦西印第安群岛。弗雷德里克七世(1848-1863)。青铜1分币,1859年 - 阿尔托纳铸币厂 - 发行首年 - 高等级(AU)
A beautiful, high-grade bronze 1 Cent piece from the Danish West Indies (modern-day U.S. Virgin Islands). This coin marks the very first year of decimal coinage implementation in the colony.
• Specifications: Weight 4.7g, diameter 21mm.
• Composition: Bronze.
• Mint: Altona Mint (Germany, under Danish administration).
• Obverse: Crowned coat of arms of Denmark. Legend: FREDERIK VII KONGE AF DANMARK.
• Reverse: Denomination 1 CENT and date 1859 centered within two traditional oak branches. Legend: DANSK VESTINDISK MONT.
• References: KM# 63 (Krause) / Sieg 15 / Hansen 23.
• Condition: About Uncirculated (AU). An exceptional colonial type piece displaying sharp details on the central crown, lions, shield, and wreath leaves. Retains excellent, smooth surfaces with a pleasant natural chocolate-brown patina and original sharpness. Highly collectible in this premium condition, as colonial bronze coins typically suffered heavily from tropical wear.
