Vintage Seiko Digital Alarm Chronograph A914-5409 – April 1984 – Original Box & Instruction Manual

Offered here is an original vintage Japanese Seiko Digital Alarm Chronograph, case reference A914-5409, powered by the Seiko A914 quartz digital module.

The watch dates from April 1984, based on its serial number 449905 and the known production period of the Seiko A914 movement.

The gold-tone case remains attractive and presents very well. There are normal signs of age and use, including light scratches and some wear to the gold-coloured finish.

The bracelet is signed Seiko and retains its original vintage appearance. There are visible areas of wear and loss of the gold-tone finish on several bracelet links, particularly in the upper section of the bracelet. These signs of use are clearly visible in the photographs and have not been concealed.

The front of the watch is well preserved. The original inscriptions:

SEIKO – LIGHT – SELECT – START/STOP – MODE – SET SPLIT-RESET – ALARM CHRONOGRAPH
remain clear and legible.

The LCD display is clean and easy to read, retaining the characteristic warm gold/amber appearance associated with this model.

The stainless-steel case back retains its original Seiko markings, reference number and serial number.
