Beautiful antique table lamp with a characterful, richly decorated wooden base, featuring graceful floral woodcarvings and a classic square base. The lamp is equipped with an elegant, gold-colored fabric lampshade with decorative borders and long fringe.

The design and materials fit a decorative interior from the early 20th century. The wooden base shows clear signs of age and use, appropriate to the object’s age.

A notable feature is the original historical label at the bottom. It refers to an Antwerp antiquarian/restorer, linked to the historic house Anthonissen / J. Zeberg, at Marché au Lait (Pelkl market) 37–39 in Antwerp. J. Zeberg is listed in historical Antwerp address books as an antiquarian and dealer in antique furniture and art.

Based on the design and construction, the lamp is tentatively dated around 1800–1830, with the possibility that certain parts are older. The exact production date cannot be determined with certainty.
