One vintage pocket calculator with its carrying cover, offered as a single lot.

*The calculator.* The front label reads ELSI MATE EL-8111 with the SHARP logo block beside it. The body is cream plastic with a dark brown top panel and a green translucent display window above an OFF / ON slide switch. The keypad has cream keys: digits 0-9, a decimal point, plus, minus, multiply and divide keys, an equals key, a square-root key, a percent key, a sign-change key, and keys marked C/CE, RM/CM and M+. A black rubber wrist strap is fixed through a ring at the top corner. The underside carries a DC socket marked 6V DC.

*The cover.* A black stitched cover that slides over the calculator, shown on the back, the front and the side in the photographs.

Size: about 13 cm long, measured against a ruler in the photographs.

Not tested: the calculator was not switched on, no batteries or power adapter are included, and its working condition is not stated. In the photographs the display shows unlit segments only. No manual or box is included.

Condition as visible in the photographs: the cream case shows yellowing and light surface marks, and the keys show light handling wear. The black cover is creased and scuffed, with worn spots on the back and a rubbed patch on one face where a printed mark or label has mostly worn away.
