\n\nInstagram: @miriamchiera\n\nhttps://www.miriamchiera.com/\n\nVIDEO OF THE WORK AVAILABLE ON MY WEBSITE OR INSTAGRAM\n\nArtwork: New, original and unique artwork by Miriam Chiera.\nYear: 2025\nMedium: pastels, acrylic, spray, stencils, graphite on 290 gr/m2 printed cotton canvas.\nSignature: Signature on the back, includes Certificate of Authenticity.\nShipping: The artwork will be shipped (for shipments outside the EU) after approximately 7 days to allow preparation of the documentation at Cultural Goods to be submitted to customs.\nFramed images are for illustrative purposes only.\nThe artwork is delivered unframed rolled with tracing paper to prevent damage (professional packaging, rolled in a plastic tube or reinforced cardboard).\n\nPlease note that colours slightly vary on different screens.\n\nTaxes:\n"Purchases made from outside the European Union may be subject to import taxes or customs duties, which will be the buyer's responsibility."\n\nMaterials:\nThis work is made with a high quality canvas, which is essential for creating beautiful and long-lasting works of art. She studied Interior Design at the Faculty of Architecture of the Universidad Nacional del Litoral, Argentina, and also studied art at the Verona Academy of Art, Italy.\nShe was born in a small town in Argentina, surrounded by vast expanses of countryside, to a family of Italian immigrant farmers. Although her roots are steeped in Italian culture, her art carries the spirit of the land where she grew up. Small marks and symbols are scattered across her canvases, interweaving cubism, constructivism and abstract geometry with the essence of her work: the language of color.\nSurrounded by the immensity of nature, with infinite horizons and a deep sense of freedom, she found inspiration in large-scale creations. Although she studied Interior Design at the Universidad Nacional del Litoral, her path to painting began in her early years, it was during her residency in the city of Romeo and Juliet, where she studied at the Accademia di Arte in Verona, when she realized that painting was her true calling.\nMiriam’s works have been selected to be exhibited in international competitions, galleries, museums and events.\n2017 – Selected for the Biennial of Fine Arts, Friends of Art, Ceres, Argentina.\n2019 – XII Salvador Massa Regional Painting Salon, Argentina.\n2019 – Finalist in the 3rd Painting Contest, 56th Anniversary Fundación 25 de Junio, Rosario, Argentina.\n2019 – Selected for the 66th National Annual Exhibition of Arts, Ceres, Argentina.\n2019 – Finalist at the XXIII Spring Hall, Museum of Visual Arts, Santa Fe, Argentina.\n2019 – Finalist at the Regional Annual Exhibition of Artists, Museum H. Borla, Esperanza, Argentina.\n2020 – Finalist at the XXIV Spring Hall, Municipal Museum of Visual Arts, Argentina.\n2021 – Finalist at the XXVI Spring Hall, Santa Fe, Argentina.\n2023 – Participant in the Chorlton Arts Festival, Manchester, United Kingdom.\n2025- Finalist "Women Artist On The Rise 2025" U.S.A\n2026-Publication in Gorila Spain Magazine May 2026\n2026-Publication in ARTEA Spain Magazine May 2026\nHer works are part of private collections around the world.\n\nToday she lives in Senigallia, Italy, after traveling through many cities: Milan, Verona, Ancona, Barcelona, Manchester, Buenos Aires, Rosario and her hometown, Ceres. Each place has left its mark on her art, shaping the vision and expression that flows through her work.\n\nArtist Statement:\nA work of art is far more than a fashionable object, a fleeting trend, or a decorative element designed to solve a spatial issue. I create paintings with the hope that they become a window through which you can tell yourself a story-where the art interacts with your life in a meaningful way.\nEach piece carries its own imprint, a soul, an energy that transforms it into a living presence within your space. My aspiration is for my art to move you, to evoke a desire to possess it, to immerse yourself in its essence, and to enjoy its company each morning as you stand before it."
