◆ Gothic Script “F” Logo

The original Olympus PEN F, introduced in 1963, is distinguished by the beautiful Gothic script “F” logo on the front of the camera.

This distinctive emblem is a characteristic feature of the original PEN F and was replaced by the self-timer mechanism on the later PEN FT.

The original PEN F can also be identified by its double-stroke film advance.

Today, the elegant Gothic “F” has become one of the most recognizable design details of the original PEN F and adds to the unique character of this classic Olympus half-frame SLR.
