Vintage S.E. Kirk DK80 / Digitel 2000 desk telephone in striking yellow, designed by renowned Danish industrial designer Jacob Jensen.
The DK80 originated from a development project initiated by the Danish telephone company Jydsk Telefon in the early 1970s. The model was introduced during the 1970s and became an internationally recognised Danish telephone design, also known in various markets as the Digitel 2000. The exterior design is attributed to Jacob Jensen, best known internationally for his work for Bang & Olufsen. British Telephones
This example has a distinctive yellow housing, push-button keypad, coiled handset cable and the original rear control panel marked:
