Antique Silver and Wood Wine Bottle Coaster – Pierced Gallery Border

Elegant silver and wood bottle coaster, designed to hold a wine or decanter bottle while protecting the table surface.
The circular silver frame features an attractive pierced openwork gallery, composed of repeating geometric and quatrefoil motifs, finished with a gently scalloped upper edge. The interior is fitted with a turned wooden base with concentric moulded decoration, creating an attractive contrast between the dark wood and polished silver.
A decorative and practical piece of traditional table silverware, ideal for use with a wine bottle or decanter.
Visible marks are present on the silver gallery, as shown in the photographs.
