27. ACCA XF+ 戰國時代-燕明刀，圓折/背口刀，字口清晰/美麗綠繡，含證書
明刀，或稱易刀、明字刀，中國先秦時期鑄行於燕國和齊國的一類刀幣，刀幣正面有字符，錢文的釋讀有多種說法，有「明」、「易」、「匽」等。燕明刀的鑄行年代，多認為是在戰國時期，但也有學者認為其鑄行上限在春秋晚期，下限在戰國早期。錢幣學界共識為弧折明刀的鑄行早於磬折明刀，而磬折明刀鑄行於戰國晚期。對於齊明刀的鑄行年代，多認為是在戰國晚期，燕國大將樂毅攻伐齊國，占領了齊國大量城邑後鑄造的，在公元前284年至公元前279年間。張馳則認為齊明刀最早出現於戰國中期初年。這支刀幣即是經典燕明刀，年代極為久遠，中國此時尚未發展出統一的圓形幣，是很漂亮的刀行貨幣，背面是二個字:口及刀，且字口清晰，呈現美麗的綠鏽色，請喜歡的藏家切勿錯過。
27. ACCA XF+ Warring States Period – Yan Ming Knife, rounded folded/back mouth knife, clear characters/beautiful green patina, with certificate
Ming knives, also called Yi knives or Ming character knives, were a type of knife-shaped coin cast in the Yan and Qi states during the pre-Qin period in China. The front of the knife coin bears characters, with readings of the inscriptions varying, including “Ming,” “Yi,” and “Yan.” It is generally believed that Yan Ming knives were cast during the Warring States period, though some scholars suggest their production could have started in the late Spring and Autumn period and continued into the early Warring States. Numismatists agree that curved-fold Ming knives were cast earlier than bell-fold Ming knives, with the latter produced in the late Warring States. For Qi Ming knives, it is widely thought they were cast in the late Warring States, after General Yue Yi of Yan conquered many cities in Qi, roughly between 284 and 279 BCE. Zhang Chi, however, believes Qi Ming knives first appeared in the early middle Warring States period. This knife coin is a classic Yan Ming knife, very ancient. At that time, China had not yet developed uniform round coins. It’s a beautiful knife-shaped currency, with two characters on the back: "kou" and "dao," and the inscriptions are clear, showing a lovely green patina. Collectors who like it should not miss out.
