This highly collectible timepiece features the iconic "Dolphin" and "WATER PROOF" relief sharply preserved on its stainless steel screw-down caseback. Designed with Seiko's purist philosophy that an automatic watch should not require manual winding, it incorporates the signature hidden crown recessed at 4 o'clock. The silver sunburst dial is highlighted by applied gold-tone indices, a separate day window displaying the full English spelling at 6 o'clock, and a framed date aperture at 3 o'clock, achieving exquisite horological balance.
